Many girls dreaming of their big day. When we were little it started with playing dress up, maybe putting on our moms wedding dress. As we got older we talked with our friends about what we thought our big day would look like. Eventually we hit the age of social media where everyones wedding were being blasted all over social media, be it on Facebook or Pinterest. I would sit on Pinterest for hours falling deeper and deeper into a black hole of rustic centerpieces and sheek gold programs, so it seemed only fitting to turn to my wedding Pinterest board when it came to planning my own wedding. Over the next few post, I'll show how I saved money on our wedding as well as ideas that I brought to life from Pinterest! Starting from the beginning, our wedding party proposals!
I originally was only going to have 2 bridesmaids while A was also going to have 2 groomsmen. We had a very small intimate wedding so a small wedding party made sense and honestly, we don't have many people we would want in the wedding party anyways.
After making my first two bridesmaid proposals and giving them to the girls I ended up adding a third bridesmaid so the robe I put in was a tad different, but really, who cares!

All in all, I absolutely loved these boxes and they were very simple to make. Our colors were green, navy and light pink so I figured a pink box would me adorable. I got some gift boxes from the craft store as well as the craft paper.
Inside the boxes: Pink floral robes from Victoria Secret (To wear on the day of), Mario Badescu facial spray, Essie pink nail polish in Blushing Bride and a coffee mug (that I made)
Yes, if you want to make life easier for you, you could always order the mugs, I found some at Snarkytea linked below. But it cost me $3 and 50 minutes to make them myself! The longest part was 'baking' them in the oven to set the sharpie that I used to write on the mugs. If you want to make them, just bake them at 350 for 40 minutes!

The groomsmen boxes were WAY more simple and more 'earthy' to keep up with the 'manliness' of the groomsmen. The boxes were also from the craft store. The best place to find these would be at Hobby Lobby in their wood craft aisle.
In these boxes: A bottle of Jack and a cigar from a local cigar shop.
I know, these boxes are plain right? But ladies, the men don't care. They just don't. The box will end up in the back of a closet or in the trash, so why not give them something small that they will enjoy and can relax with. A and I went to Anstead's Tobacco Company in Fayetteville, NC and spent a few hours going over their MANY cigar options before settling on these ones. Side note: If you are in Fayetteville, you can go here, pick out a cigar and they have a lounge with a bar where you can relax, smoke and grab a drink!
Thats it for today guys, Pinterest worthy wedding party proposals! (Hint, they all said yes!)
Coming up next, the invites! Yes, I made those too, I'm crazy.
