Breakfast in a Mug!

Hey ya'll! There are so many times that I wake up just craving something sweet. While rare, it does happen and I know that I won't be able to eat large servings of anything. I've never been a big 'breakfast person' so when I do want something different in the morning, these are my go to meals! Almost all of the ingredients are things I always have around so it makes for a quick and easy breakfast! If you're like me and missing something, jump on google and look up an alternative! You'll be amazed at some of the things you can switch ingredients out for! Happy eating! xo-B


2 minute French Toast in a mug :

2 slices of bread

1 egg

3 tbsp of milk

Pinch of cinnamon

Drop of Vanilla Extract


Cut bread into cubes and place in mug. Mix together the egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour mixture into the cup and smoosh into bread. Allow mixture to soak into the bread. Microwave for a minute. Adding 10 seconds at a time until fully cooked. Add syrup.


Coffee Cake in a mug:

**Cake**

1 tbsp of butter

2 tbsp of sugar

2 tbsp sour cream or yogurt

1 egg

Drop of Vanilla Extract

1/4 cup of flour

1/8 tsp baking powder


**Topping**

1 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon


Add butter to mug. Soften butter in the microwave. Stir in sugar until fluffy. Stir in the egg. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in the flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl, mix together butter, flour, cinnamon and brown sugar. Add crumb topping to the cup. Microwave starting at one minute. Add 10 seconds at a time until done.
