As much as I love making things from scratch, a busy life doesn't always allow it. This is how I get the comfort from chicken and dumplings without too much work!

You'll need:
32 oz chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can pillsbury southern style biscuits
1 rotisserie chicken or 3 cooked chicken breast
1 1/2 cups of millk
seasoning of your choice
1/2 stick of butter
Shred your chicken, and cut each biscuits into 8 pieces by cutting in half 4 times)
On medium heat combine chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and milk.
Once this mixture comes to a boil, add the seasoning of your choice (I usually do garlic and onion powder, pepper and slap ya momma, you don't need much salt because of the broth) and the butter.
Once the butter has melted, toss in the biscuits and chicken, making sure the biscuits are separated as you add them. Mix together.
Put a lid on the pot, lower heat to low and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Thats it! Obviously, 100% homemade will always taste good, but this is still super yummy and perfect for the cold weather days.
